  • Where can I buy parent/sibling tickets?


    Parent and sibling tickets must be purchased directly from Kelly Canyon at the ticket office. You can buy them on the days that you ski with your student for a discounted rate of $19 for parent tickets and $16 for sibling tickets.

  • When do the buses leave for Kelly Canyon?


    Students will load the buses right after school and the buses will leave as soon as possible after that.

  • In case of an emergency, how can I contact a chaperone while my child is at Kelly Canyon?


    We have little to no cell service on the mountain so you will be unable to reach us on our cell phones while we are skiing. In case of an emergency we will contact you using a land line at Kelly Canyon. If you need to contact us you can call the Kelly Canyon ticket office at (208) 538 – 6251. They usually close by 8:00 pm.

  • How do I get to Kelly Canyon?

    The lodge is located between lifts 2 and 3. The rental shop is located near lifts 1 and 2.

  • Will My Child Ski Alone?


    A: If your child is a new skier/snowboarder, it is ALWAYS best that they plan to ski with a friend or two. Their lessons will only take one hour and then the rest of the evening they will be free to ski/board on their own. Please advise your children that if they are unfamiliar with the hill, they should stay on Skier’s Lane (lift #3) or the bunny hill for their first couple of trips. If they are unsure of what lift to ride, they can always ask an iSki Chaperone (will be wearing red armbands) a Kelly Canyon employee, or a member of the Ski Patrol (wearing red and black coats).

  • How do the lessons work?


    A: Lessons are available for skill levels 1 and 2 only and are taught by Kelly Canyon instructors. Students meet in front of the lodge approximately 30 minutes after arriving at the hill to meet with their group. From there they spend 1 hour with an instructor to learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding. After their lesson they are able to ski on their own for the remainder of their time at the hill.

  • Where can I get the rental form I need to fill out for my child who is renting equipment?


    A: You can download and print the form HERE or you can copy and paste http://www.skikelly.com/uploads/Rental%20Form.pdf into your browser and view the form that way.  In order to rent equipment from Kelly Canyon, your child MUST have that form filled out and with him to turn in to the rental shop.

  • Where will I pick up my kids at the end of the night?


    A: Both the junior high and middle school buses will return to the middle school after skiing. So ALL parents should make arrangements to pick up their child there.

  • Can I pick up my child from the hill?


    A: If you want your child to ride home with you instead of on the bus, you MUST talk to one of the chaperones in advance to let us know so that we don’t spend time looking for your child at the end of the night.

  • What if my child is sick and can’t ski one of the days?


    A: No refunds will be given for missed ski days. If there is an emergency and your child needs to withdraw from the program completely, we can refund the price of the remaining lift tickets and rental fees. The registration and bus fees can not be refunded.

  • Do you have a lost and found?


    A: If your child leaves something on the bus or at the hill, please use the ‘Contact Us’ form at the bottom of our website. If we did not happen to find the lost item you can contact Kelly Canyon directly at (208) 538-6251 and ask them to check their lost and found. It can be very difficult to track down lost items from the hill so please stress to your child the importance of keeping his/her things together in the lodge. Students are allowed and encouraged to leave their backpacks on the locked buses while they ski.

  • How can I sign up to be a chaperone?


    A: Email us using the ‘Contact Us‘ form at the bottom of our website to let us know that you are interested in being a chaperone.

  • What should my child do with his/her ski equipment during school?


    A: Students should bring their ski and snowboard equipment to the school on Friday mornings. There will be a designated area at the school where they can store it. After school they will be able to pick up their equipment and load it onto the bus.

  • When does registration end?


    A: Registration is first come first serve. We are planning to take one bus from the middle school and two buses from the jr. high. Once the busses are full, registration will be closed.

  • Why does my child have to ride the bus?


    A: In order to get group rates we have to have a certain number of students participate. Also- we hand out lift tickets to students as they get off of the bus. It is difficult to keep track of who should and should not get a ticket when students don’t ride the bus. For our program, it is required that kids ride the bus to the hill but they are welcome to ride home with parents as long as we are told in advance.

  • What time will the buses return to Rexburg?


    A: The students need to load the bus by 9:00 pm so that we can leave and get back to Rexburg between 9:45-10:00 pm. Depending on the weather, that time does vary but we try hard to stay on schedule.
